Customer Service Administrator

LKAB are looking for an enthusiastic Customer Services Advisor to form part of our Team at Derby. The role is responsible for dealing directly with suppliers, customers, site administration and weighbridge.
The incumbent will be responsible for performing the day-to-day administration and support activities, ensuring that all orders are accounted for accurately and that these are conveyed to our partners in a timely manner. Maintaining customer and stakeholders’ requirements and manage these to the highest standards possible.
The role will require close collaboration with the Operations, planning, Refractory Managers & scheduling team, as well as internal sales team members and is heavily focussed on export goods and documentation.
Duties will include:
- Administration and processing of orders and information relating to multiple sites across the UK
- Processing Documentation for UK and European Orders
- Inbound and Outbound Call Handling
- Ensuring LKAB Logistical requirements are being fulfilled by Haulage Partner
- Develop proactive relationships and effective communication with customers, LKAB personnel, hauliers, commercial functions, and suppliers including sales opportunities, safety and operational delivery and providing product information and samples where required
- Ensuring customer service queries are dealt with in an efficient manner through to completion, and if required escalated through the Site Manager and Commercial teams.
- Site Reception duties
- Weighbridge Cover for Derby Site
- Ensure that risk assessments and method statements for planned work are in place.
- Personable, Confident and customer focused.
- IT literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Platforms and strong attention to detail
- Demonstrable organisation, time management and customer service experience.
- Great team player - eager to support, with a proactive nature.
- Knowledge and understanding of weighbridge loading systems and road haulage information preferred but full training will be provided.
- Previous Export documentation preparation & booking experience.
- Committed to the LKAB values and code of conduct and lives by the organisation golden rules.
The role will be based onsite at Derby, DE21 7BE.
