We are looking for a Admin Assistant to join our clients team based at Fradley Park, Lichfield on maternity cover.

**Responsibilities**:

- Liaising with our European Partners and Customers to find resolutions to any arising challenges within agreed SLA’s.
- Ensuring the accurate entry of data into the operational system, including importer declarant details and clearance instructions.
- Arrange shipment bookings with customers ensuring the recoding of accurate information to assist with a cost effective and efficient delivery.
- Tracking and monitoring progress of shipments through to Pod, in line with KPIs and customer SLA’s to ensure we maintain our high service level.
- Check all shipment documentation, including hazardous paperwork, escalate any discrepancies with our onsite DGSA.
- First point of customer escalation for Partners, Suppliers & Customers both internal and external, developing a strong and productive relationship.
- Meet and wherever possible exceed customer expectations within the individual customers budgetary and operational restrictions.
- Spotting and developing additional revenue and business opportunities. Provide quotations to customers for European road freight consignments.
- Be compliant at all times and ensure that all regulatory paperwork is in accordance with government guidelines and customs compliance procedures.
- Help to contribute and adhere to our highly acclaimed ISO accreditations for Quality, Energy and Environmental Management.
- Provide high standards of customer service in a friendly and positive manner.
- Work within a fast-paced environment with a can do attitude and a willingness to learn, within a strong and supportive team.
- Perform quality control checks to ensure accuracy of shipments
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a warehouse or freight handling role preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

HOURS: 37 ½ hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08.30 - 17.00, with an hours unpaid meal break each day

HOLIDAYS: 33 days per annum inclusive of bank holidays

**Job Type**: Temporary contract
Contract length: 9 months

**Salary**: £20,500.00 per year
