**About The Role**:
Nisbets celebrates its 40th anniversary this year and we have come a long way from humble beginnings in 1983 to the international company we are today. To ensure we continue to fully support our business we need to recruit a Payroll Administrator on a 12 month FTC. As our Payroll Administrator, you will support processing all aspects of the UK payroll to include starters, leavers, sickness, overtime, step ups, SMP, SPP, SAP and ShPP. We are also in the process of moving to Ceridian Dayforce and this role will support the Payroll Officer and Manager in all administrative tasks during this period of implementation. You will be joining a very knowledgeable and supportive team who share their knowledge readily, so will get to build on your payroll skills and knowledge in a friendly environment.

**What will I be doing as a Payroll Administrator?**
- Check details of new starters added to the system by the people team and ensure payment, tax code, NI letter etc is correct for payment in payroll
- Ensure colleagues are made leavers at the appropriate time and all deductions required are made, P45 forms are sent at the appropriate time
- Deal with customer queries regarding pay, third party payment etc and able to offer advice on tax and payment matters
- Ensure the payroll checklist is followed each month and the numerous tasks listed that make up the whole payroll process, have been performed:

- Ensure pension regulations are adhered to and assist with administering the pension scheme, running reports and ensuring accurate and balancing information is sent to finance
- Ensure strict deadlines are adhered to and obtain the correct authorisation so that payments are made on the correct date, net salary to colleagues, PAYE to HMRC and third party payments to the relevant bodies

**About You**:
**What are we looking for in a Payroll Administrator?**
- Demonstrate clear and varied payroll knowledge ideally gained in a diverse work force
- Good knowledge of HMRC rules and regulations regarding all aspects of payroll legislation including regulations regarding starters, leavers, statutory payments, reporting requirements
- Good knowledge of pension regulations to ensure the company meets all legislative requirements
- Good written and verbal communication skills to deal with varied customer queries
- High level numeracy skills so that off system manual calculations can be performed to aid the ability to answer queries and give advice to customers (Colleagues)
- Good Excel skills to enable the supply of data in required formats
