To act as the first point of contact for managers and staff with general HR queries on Trust policies and procedures and terms and conditions of service. Under the guidance of the HR Advisor/HR Business Partner, to provide sound advice and guidance to staff and line managers on the initial stages of employee relations issues including discipline, grievance and capability policies and procedures. To assist the HR Business Partners and HR Advisor in the management of sickness absence and reducing sickness absence across the Trust by monitoring of absence levels and liaising with managers in those areas on procedures and best practice. Minute take at formal meetings and HR processes To support the updating of the Plan for Every Vacancy and other workbooks and produce quarterly reports on all levels of HR activity, e.g.

Employee Relations, Sickness, Safeguarding matters, Exit interviews, New starter surverys To support the recruitment and retention projects as and when necessary. To support the HR Business Partners and HR Advisor in their caseload work, taking on relevant cases and supporting managers with sickness absence and other HR work. Support the delivery of the HR training programme and provide informal coaching and support to managers, attending divisional meetings when necessary
