Foundry is a single Practice PCN serving a population of circa 29,000 patients in the Lewes and Ringmer area of East Sussex. We operate from three surgery sites in Lewes and one in Ringmer, a mixture of both purpose built and converted buildings. Foundry aims to provide consistently excellent primary care to our local population and to develop a comprehensive population health management approach with our patients and partners.

**Job Summary**

In this role you will support the management team in the effective administration and compliance of the practice; striving to enhance a number of key systems in both HR and Governance areas.

This is a 1 Year Fixed Term Contract.

**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**

The following are the core responsibilities of the HR and Compliance Administrator.

a. Supporting the management team as required with projects, systems and continuous improvement

b. Providing administrative support for compliance registers, supporting the HR Officer and management team

c. Assisting with the recruitment of staff, including HR and DBS checks

d. Supporting onboarding and induction of new staff members

e. Managing user accounts and system access

f. Supporting the practice in monitoring compliance with health and safety legislation, providing leadership and direction for staff

g. Contributing to an effective practice training and appraisal programme for all staff

h. Data Input and maintenance of our Practice Index compliance portal, including monitoring HR checks and policy amendments

i. Supporting the management team in the reviewing and updating of practice policies and procedures

j. Supporting CQC preparedness and completing regular audits, providing key performance informatiom

k. Complaints administration including acknowledgement, recording, collating information and drafting response

l. Supporting complaint and significant event review and improvement

m. Administration support to management team as required, including coordinating meetings, agendas, minutes, reports and scheduling

n. Annual renewal of locum and indemnity insurances

o. There may be, on occasion, a requirement to carry out other tasks. This will be dependent upon factors such as workload and staffing levels:
**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
