About the Role

The Joint Force Vetting Administration Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the operational effectiveness of the Joint Force Vetting Unit. This includes creating, implementing, and coordinating an administrative function to manage email inboxes, respond to vetting enquiries, and provide advice on all levels of vetting and associated security measures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage email inboxes and respond to internal and external vetting enquiries
  • Operate and maintain an effective vetting administrative function
  • Support Business Interest applications and ensure accurate recording
  • Send out vetting forms to applicants and track their return
  • Provide advice to HR teams, Recruitment Managers, and Divisions on vetting and security measures
  • Liaise with vetting contractors, sponsors, and departments to ensure timely vetting and renewal

Requirements

  • Competent administrative skills
  • Operational knowledge of the Intranet and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent organisational skills and methodical approach
  • Experience in a Personnel or HR environment (desirable)
  • Knowledge of SAP and Centurion systems (desirable)
