About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Home Care Direct. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living tasks, medication administration, and mobility.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in care and support.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and healthy environment for clients and staff.
Requirements
  • Experience in a similar care role, preferably with a focus on client-centered care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meet the needs of clients and the care team.
  • Willingness to commit to ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge in care and support.
  • Reliability, non-judgmental attitude, and a caring and compassionate approach to client care.
