About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Home Care Direct. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living tasks, medication administration, and mobility.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and support.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure clients receive comprehensive and person-centered care.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in care and support.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and healthy environment for clients and colleagues.
Requirements
  • Experience in a similar care role, preferably with a focus on client-centered care.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to commit to long-term care for one client, with a focus on person-centered care.
  • Enhanced DBS disclosure and ability to meet the requirements of the role.
  • Reliability, non-judgmental attitude, and a caring and responsible approach to care and support.
