About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Home Care Direct. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to a young man with complex care needs.

The role involves working as part of a close-knit team to ensure the client's safety and well-being, responding to his needs, and accompanying him to the bathroom, supporting during seizures, and administering medication as required.

Requirements
  • Experience in a similar care role is essential
  • Enhanced DBS disclosure is required
  • Willingness to provide holiday cover across the team
  • Commitment to long-term care for one client in a person-centred way
  • Reliability, non-judgmental attitude, and a caring approach
