**Wellbeing & Activities Coordinator Required, Nursing home in Chertsey, Surrey.**

**HOURS**:Your working pattern will be three days one week, and four days the next. This will include working alternate weekends

**RATE OF PAY**:£12 per hour during the week and £12.50 per hour at weekends**.**

Our friendly team at Abbey Chase in Chertsey, Surrey is looking for two enthusiastic, self-motivated Wellbeing Coordinators to support the residents. We are seeking individuals who can encourage, stimulate and inspire the service users to engage in
a programme of interactive daily activities.

Established in 1984, we are a family-owned group of care services in Surrey and South London.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
The Wellbeing Coordinator role will include a number of tasks such as:

- 1-1 Sessions with the people living in the Service
- Group Sessions
- Organising Daily Activities and Outings
- Arranging Visits
- Light Exercises with people living in the Service
- Board Games
- Arts and Crafts
- Puzzles
- Knitting
- Gardening
- Sing-a long
- News Paper/ Book Reading
- Shopping
- Organising Birthday Parties and Special Events

You will be able to create stimulating and interesting weekly and monthly activity timetables and keep service users and their relatives informed of upcoming sessions and events. to advise people living in the Service and their friends and families of the activities coming up.

**What you will need**:

- Full UK Drivers Licence preferred
- A reliable, happy and caring attitude
- Experience is desired
- Excellent level of written and spoken English
