Rota Care Coordinators do exactly what it says on the tin They coordinate. Helping to ensure continuity of care for customers, you’ll be working alongside our Client Coordinator, Support Workers and our Branch Managers to help ensure people are where they need to be when they’re supposed to be.

A big part of that is problem solving. After all, when you’re planning the whereabouts of a big team of people, problems are inevitable - from breakdowns to illness, traffic gridlock to emergencies, the unexpected is bound to arise. So given that, you need to be able to think clearly under pressure - and act as a calm and soothing presence whenever drama presents itself.

As you can imagine, excellent planning and organisational skills are crucial, as is IT, as you’ll be working on our systems to get things done to ensure customers get the care and support they need, on time. It’s not simply allocating numbers though, you’ll need to make sure the right Support Workers, with the right skills and experience, go to the right places - so that they’re able to deliver the best possible care.

This is where your logístical prowess will need to come to the fore - as organising rotas to minimise any service disruption whilst also minimising travel times between customers’ homes is, while not quite like herding cats, certainly a challenge.

And of course, as ever with best laid plans, they’re liable to change - so you need to be quick on your proverbial toes to make the necessary changes.

Other requirements of the role are to have a driving licence and your own car, as well as having the ability to work well in a team.

Rota Care Coordinators are a crucial part of the care team, doing an important task to help ensure people get the care they need - so if you want to be part of a network of carers, doing awesome work and making a real difference to someone’s quality of life, then let us know. We’d love to have you onboard.

As part of the branch office team, you will also be required to support the out of hours’ on-call as per the agreed roster and will receive an additional payment for this service at the prevailing weekly rate.
