**Job description**:
This role provides shared support to the ITS Capability leads for Enterprise Architecture and Project Delivery, both of which deal with a huge range of stakeholders and have an impact across the whole organisation. You will find yourself in a supportive and inclusive environment, which will provide you with an excellent opportunity to build on existing skills, develop new ones, and gain exposure to a wide range of new and up-and-coming technologies and projects.

**Responsibilities**

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

- PA support duties on behalf of Capability Leads
- Co-ordinating diaries, arranging meetings and ensuring associated papers/presentations are available. Supporting the capability lead to prioritise their time, while helping ensure that critical meetings can be accommodated within a busy diary
- Attending Management Meetings, preparing agendas, take/write up and distributing minutes and actions of meetings as required
- Carrying out routine admin duties e.g. travel/hotel arrangements, hospitality, updating organisation charts, telephone directories and the booking of training events etc
- Organising capability events, gathering feedback and organising information to be reviewed and considered by the senior management team

**Additional information**

Therefore, the expectation is that you will spend a minimum of 40% of your working time based at your principal workplace (DVLA). We would encourage you to discuss the working arrangements for this role with us during the recruitment process.

**Person specification**:
Excellent organisational skills are required, and you will be able to manage and filter workflow as well as organise and prioritise your work to maximise productivity and achieve all deadlines. You will be proactive, self-driven, with a flexible attitude and welcome autonomy to your role.

You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor these to suit your audience and can do so clearly and confidently to ensure understanding and won’t be afraid to ask questions when needed. You will be comfortable dealing with senior stakeholders and other senior members of staff, ensuring that you build strong and positive working relationships.
