**Pensions Administrator - Defined Benefits**

We are currently recruiting for a Pensions Administrator with Defined Benefits & Strong Excel experience to join one of our Insurance Clients on a 6 month contract currently remote working.

This position is**Inside IR35.**

You will be working alongside a number of skilled analysts/administrators (located on and offshore) who work on a large portfolio of DB occupational pension schemes.

**Responsibilities**:

- Analysing business requirements, Trust Deed and Rules and other scheme documentation and planning an appropriate software solution with a focus on accuracy, build efficiency and maintainability.
- Working closely with your fellow developers and utilise software design patterns appropriate to the task at hand.
- Interact with third parties such as the scheme actuary and solicitors to clarify complex and technical queries.
- Coding and rigorously testing the supporting software.
- Alongside other analysts produce detailed calculation proforma from first principles and supporting automation test packs.
- Work towards developing and optimizing end to end automation.
- Build on technical expertise/capabilities/skills and contribute towards measurable improvements.
- Contribute to the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives and single team culture to increase end to end automation efficiency's and results.

**Experience**:

- Previous experience of Defined Benefit / Pension Schemes
- Experience of producing test packs and calculation specifications, Building calculation proforma.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel & Word.
