**Lead Wellbeing Coordinator - 33 hours a week**
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our hardworking team at this residential care home in Swaffham, our team really do care about our residents and are dedicated and warm-hearted.
As the Lead Wellbeing Coordinator, you will be effectively heading up the activities and wellbeing team, providing a developed set of activities that will drive the engagement of the residents as well as educating an. A creative flair would be a distinct advantage. This position is 33 hours a per week including alternate weekends, with flexibility in shifts, at £11.50 an hour.
**Key duties**:
- Work closely with residents, staff and others involved in the organising of events.
- You will have the opportunity to build relationships with resident's families so they can be part of the activities where possible.
- Assess and collate residents’ interests and preferences to best plan activities that suit them.
- Investigate, develop and extend the range of activities that the home can offer including specific pastimes like gardening, painting or music.
- Lead outings for the residents, either meeting up with friends and family, visiting the local cinema, attending clubs etc
- To work with the registered manager in the use of the home’s activities budget.
