Care Coordinator/medication Lead

A rare and amazing opportunity has opened up to join our team as a Care Coordinator/Medication Lead. This is a highly desirable role, working for an award-winning family run business in North Somerset.
There are 2 main parts to this role, the Care Coordinator side and the Medication Lead side. Both are a mixture of office and community-based work. The main responsibilities for both roles include;
Care Coordinator - Conducting spot checks on staff and feeding back findings to the Staff Manager, signing off our new colleagues so they can begin to work independently, Completing client reviews.
Medication Lead - Investigating medication related issues or problems, Carrying out regular medication audits.
You will also be scheduled as the on-call manager on a rota basis.
This role is a salaried role, based on a basic of £25,000 per year, something not often seen in the care industry. As well as this you will receive a proud to care bonus, which is paid every 6 months and is equivalent to a week’s earnings in the previous period.
Working hours for this role are 40 hours a week, scheduled on a 2-weekly basis, with your shifts being an 8-hour period between 7am and 10pm, you will also be required to work alternate weekend in this role. Split shifts may occasionally be needed.
