Cancer Services provides support to Cancer MDT teams within the organisation, tracking and monitoring patient’s treatment pathways to help deliver national waiting time standards. The role of the MDT Co-ordinator team is to provide administrative support to the Cancer Multidisciplinary Teams meetings as well as recording, tracking and collecting data on all patients with suspected or confirmed malignancy and all associated treatments. The Cancer Services Administrator would work alongside the MDTCs to achieve this in a timely way.

To provide general administrative support for the department.
To process and administer orders using the Unit 4.
To abide at all times by the rules of confidentiality.
To deal with enquiries promptly, directing to relevant staff as appropriate.
Update and maintain various databases.
Utilise trust IT systems to support MDT meetings or to facilitate the updating of databases.
Participate in team meetings and take informal minutes when required.
Booking rooms and refreshments for meetings, events and training.
Contact appropriate department for maintenance of equipment and repairs required in any of the areas.
Be responsible for the receipt, movement and storage of supplies and the
maintenance of stationary stock levels.
To undertake any other duties as appropriate to this position after discussion with Line Manager
