We are looking to appoint a dedicated and motivated team leader to work within the busy Suspected Cancer Office at Pydar House in Truro.

The Suspected Cancer Office co-ordinates all suspected cancer (Two Week Wait) appointments received by the Trust for every tumour site. All referrals are received via the national eReferrals (eRS) platform and are measured against national cancer targets and Trust standards.

You will need to be able to work in a calm, logical and methodical way, with the ability to multi-task whilst dealing with frequent interruptions. You must be confident, diplomatic and able to work in a busy environment. You must possess excellent communication skills and a pleasant disposition, with the ability to lead a team to ensure service delivery.

You will be required to have a good level of education, have some experience and knowledge of the NHS, and ideally be experienced in the use of eRS and the Outpatient Module of the Patient Administration System (PAS).
