About the Role

We are looking for a Deputy Head of Governance and Risk to join our team at Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Trust's Risk Manager in their programme of work, including auditing and maintaining corporate risk registers, and ensuring strategic risks feed into the Board Assurance Framework (BAF).

The ideal candidate will have experience of risk management gained from working in a large, complex organisation, preferably within a healthcare setting.

Main Responsibilities

  • Audit and maintain corporate risk registers.
  • Ensure strategic risks feed into the Board Assurance Framework (BAF).
  • Work closely with corporate and clinical care groups to ensure a proactive approach to risk management.
