**An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as part of the Early Years SEND, Access and Inclusion Team within the Early Years Service.**

**About the role**:
As an Access & Inclusion Officer you will be identifying & contacting families who are eligible to receive 2-year funding. You will be supporting them to access a place for their child with an early years provider and using creative and diverse ways to promote early years funding, in particular the 2 year funding offer. You will provide telephone guidance, virtual and digital information to families and professionals on funding schemes and accessing childcare. You’ll be managing & analysing data to support take up of funded places and demonstrating the impact of our work.

As well as being desk based, which includes a combination of home and office working, you will also be involved in outreach sessions countywide to advise families on their eligibility and promote all aspects of our service. Therefore, it is essential for the role that you hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle for travel around the county.

**About you**:
Customer service experience would also be ideal in this role, as you will need to communicate clearly with families of all backgrounds, both verbally and in writing, ensuring they understand the services we offer and their eligibility.
