An exciting opportunity to work in the Radiotherapy Department
We are looking for a caring and highly motivated Radiotherapy Appointment Clerk to join our friendly and welcoming radiotherapy team at the Oxford Cancer Centre.
You will be part of a team committed to providing a high-quality, caring and compassionate service for patients. The appointment clerk role is essential to ensure the efficient pathway flow of patients through the Radiotherapy department.
Good communication, interpersonal and team working skills are essential for informing patients of their appointments & discussion with the wider team as well as being compassionate and adaptable.
You should be flexible in your approach to work, be able to act on your own initiative. Good computer skills are required.

- Work as part of a team to schedule and book patient appointments for radiotherapy
- Provide a courteous scheduling service to patients and carers
- Communicate, mainly by phone, with patients & carers and the wider MDT regarding radiotherapy appointments
- Liaise with the Radiographers regarding patient's appointment
The Trust comprises four hospitals - the John Radcliffe Hospital, Churchill Hospital and Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Headington and the Horton General Hospital in Banbury.
