Community Alarm and Telecare Service, Perth

If so, then you may then have the qualities we are looking for to take on an exciting opportunity a join the team as our new Senior Clerical Assistant in the Community Alarm and Telecare Service, Perth.
The Community Alarm and Telecare Service is designed to enable people to live safely, securely and independently in their own homes. Telecare provides peace of mind for individuals and their families through a 24-hour response service.
You will have a great opportunity to work with a wide range of Health and Social Care Partnership colleagues and assessing workers who refer to the Community Alarm and Telecare Service.
- Do you have excellent digital skills to operate, organise and maintain relevant systems and equipment ensuring the integrity of data, appropriate security, and access, with systems such as Jontek and AIS which are our client information management and call management / response platforms?
If so, good IT and digital skills are essential to operate and maintain relevant systems and equipment necessary for completing assigned tasks. Currently we utilise a range of Microsoft products such as Word and Excel, alongside our service management platforms such as Jontek, PECOS, and AIS/Swift.
- Do you have the organisational skills to plan, prioritise and schedule work to contribute to the needs of the team/service?
If so, we have effective systems and processes in place to ensure effective service delivery, this includes supporting referrals, installations, reviews and upgrades, also related to stock management and data / performance management. Attention to detail is key.
The service is fast moving and every day can provide a challenge which helps to ensure as a service we continue to meet the high standard expected by our clients, colleagues, and inspecting bodies.
- Can you communicate effectively to build relationships with clients/service users and other internal/external agencies to ensure a quality care provision?
If so, you will work in partnership with colleagues across the Health and Social Care Partnership and in addition, internal and external customers in all areas of work. You will be required to demonstrate good working relationships and have the ability to deal effectively with enquiries and requests by providing information to others which require explanation.
- Do you have the ability to work under pressure, prioritise, and problem solve?
Then this role will allow you to showcase these skills, while also having the ability to ensure attention to detail and meeting deadlines is essential.
You will be able demonstrate a flexible approach to change and adapt to new ways of working.

You will be based at our Community Alarm and Telecare Service within Perth Fire Station. Hours of work will be Monday - Friday, 8.45am - 5.00pm. We are however happy to discuss the hours of work, promoting flexibility, but ensuring the service needs are met.
