University of Warwick, United Kingdom University of Warwick Full time

Permanent, Full Time Role.

This is an exciting time to be joining the Development and Alumni Engagement Team (DAE) at the University of Warwick.

We’re entering the early planning stages of a new major philanthropic campaign, which will significantly scale the ambition for the University’s fundraising and engagement activity. To enable the campaign, we’re investing in Operations, and have created a new team under the Head of Campaign Planning and Performance.

To lead the team, we’re looking for someone who has a passion for making a difference and the skills to make things happen. As the Head of Campaign Planning and Performance you will play a key role in building the operational resilience and planning infrastructure that will enable DAE and the University of Warwick embark on our most ambitious campaign yet. With the objectives of increasing the active engagement of our alumni, students and staff communities and raising new and transformative funds in support of the University’s strategic philanthropic priorities, there is an enormous impact to be made.

The post holder will work closely with DAE’s Senior Leadership Team and programme leads, to create and develop the campaign plan and infrastructure. They will be responsible for building the framework that will monitor and evaluate the team’s success, and for evolving DAEs operational ways of working to enable the highest levels of ambition, creativity and professionalism. They will lead a growing team that includes a Campaign Project Development Manager, Senior Fundraising Writer, Learning and Development Officer and the Philanthropic Finance function. Responsibilities include building relationships with senior members of the University Executive, Senior Faculty and Senior Volunteers from within our alumni and supporter communities.

As a team, we have a major role to play in helping break down barriers to education and advancing research addressing some of our planet's biggest challenges.

Our alumni and donor community creates lasting value in society and the economy through supporting students, research and facilities at Warwick.

If this sounds like a good team to be a part of, and an exciting challenge, then I look forward to meeting with you.
