The Role
- Review Resource model to make resource recommendations according to forecast adjustments, absence, customer requirements, seasonal peaks etc.
- Work with the Resource Planning Manager to produce effective deployment plans for each warehouse shift.
- Monitor daily labour variances and volume distribution to ensure full and accurate labour resource requirements are formed on a daily and weekly basis and adjusted as required in the daily/weekly deployment plan.
- Work with operational teams and Resource Planning Manager to produce and continually review rota patterns in line with operational KPI’s.
- Provide senior management with daily/weekly KPI/performance reports to ensure continual improvement throughout the warehouse.
- Continually look to improve current spreadsheets and processes to ensure effective time management and efficiency keeping the retail network aligned.
- Monitor daily and weekly agency requirements and weekly hours reconciliation.
- To provide support across the retail network to Resource Planning Manager.
- Ensure that each shift has required information to approve/reject holiday requests in line with approved guidelines.
- To operate performance management tool in conjunction with the planning tool.
- Offer support to teams across the retail network to help progress resource planning.
- Effective management of Kronos, amending shift pattern and ensuring accuracy. Responsible for accurately recording holidays in the central rota and payroll system.

The Person:

- Well-organised and analytical with a sound knowledge of the principles of warehouse operations
- Good knowledge and understanding of MS Excel.
- High attention to detail
- Customer-focussed with excellent communication skills
- Organised and the ability to prioritise workload to ensure that all deadlines are hit
- Ability to influence and persuade others
- Confident problem solver
- The role may require an element of flexibility in regard to working hours.
