AMH Material Handling is a leading material handling company equipment supplier company dedicated to helping their customers design, build and maintain innovation, they are at the forefront of material handling systems advancements, serving clients across the UK. As they continue to expand their operations, they are seeking a motivated Administration Assistant to play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day activities.

**The Role**

As an administration assistant you will be an integral part of the administrative team, responsible for a range of tasks that keep the operation running smoothly, your attention to detail and organisational skills will contribute to maintaining the company’s efficient and effective work environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist with daily office needs and manage general administrative activities
- Perform clerical tasks such as scheduling, filing and data entry
- Support with documentation including employee onboarding paperwork and maintaining personal records
- Assist with travel arrangements and accommodation bookings
- Assist with the raising and completion of purchase orders on their in-house software
- Assist with processing orders and updating department trackers (uniform, equipment, stationary)
- Receiving and reconciling internal deliveries
- Arranging couriers on various networks
- Assisting with in-house events

**Skills and Experience**
- Will have prior administrative experience of at least two years, and excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to a wide range of people
- Strong planning and organising skills with the ability to prioritise
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong IT skills (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Self-motivated and able to work without close supervision
- Enthusiastic, reliable, and flexible in your approach
