Simon at Aaron Wallis characterises this role as equal parts technical advisor and commercial champion, to achieve sales objectives.
You will be an experienced field sales engineer on an upward career trajectory from any technical/industrial background. A background in fluid dynamics or hydraulics would be beneficial but by no means essential.
