**Role Description**:
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, this position provides day-to-day administrative support to the Commercial team. The role is responsible for assisting the Sales Representatives to open new customer accounts, manage their pipeline, follow up on new business leads and ensure new customer expectations are met in full. The role covers all of the UK Dual brand businesses (Gas Direct, Gas Direct Cymru and SIG).

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Opening new customer accounts using tools such as Account Approval Centre (AAC), including:

- Liaising with new customers and Sales Representatives to ensure accurate and comprehensive information is available in order to open the account.

*Ensuring data is entered into AAC completely and accurately.

*Notifying the relevant teams once the account has been opened in order to arrange the first delivery.

*Liaising with new customers to keep them informed, ensuring customer satisfaction, and resolving any issues identified.
- Assisting the Sales team to keep the Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) tool up to date with their pipeline customers.
- Following up on new business leads and arranging appointments for Sales Representatives as required.
- Providing administrative support to the Commercial team as required to ensure customer expectations are met.
- To operate safely within the work environment using Behaviour Based Safety Principles (BSP) to maintain safety standards and look for improvements.

To carry out any other duties that are within the employee's skills and abilities whenever reasonably instructed.

**Essential Experience / Skills**:

- Computer literate
- Ability to complete set admin tasks
- Reliable / Flexible to change
- Able to organize and prioritize workload in a busy office
- Provide full admin support to your team members

**Preferred Experience / Skills**:

- Excellent communication skills
- Previous SAP experience
- Experience working in a commercial environment
- Good knowledge of general administration work
