**About The Role**
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a project within the Operational Performance Asset Data Team. In this role, you will be supporting a new team on a project to systemise legacy work within a tight deadline to ensure the accurate capture of Cadent's asset data following operational activities carried out on site by third parties, and you'll be playing a key role in providing daily operational support and digitising expertise to the team.
- Accountabilities of an Asset Update Technical Administrator include:
- Support the capturing of asset data accurately and timely within the core systems through efficient utilisation of resources to meet targets
- Provide technical support to a team of administration assistants to enable the team to process asset updates to the required standards
- Co-ordinate the daily workload, effectively prioritising on day work and additional tasks to ensure that all key SLA’s are achieved
- Document and maintain local work procedures ensuring that the team are compliant with policies & procedures
- Demostrate proactivity in all aspects of the work and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and customers to develop effective relationships
- Produce relevant reports and management information and ensure that these are distributed where required
- Monitor, maintain and utilise team SharePoint data to ensure accuracy of data input and SLAs are met to support the project
**What you will bring**
**Practical Experience, Knowledge & Skills**
We’re looking for individuals who hold the following skills and experience:
- Organised, motivated, resourceful and able to work accurately within tight deadlines and on their own initiative
- Working knowledge of the processes carried out within Asset Update i.e. SAP CRM and ESRI
- Demonstrable strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop self and others
- Ability to understand and adhere to business policies and procedures
- Extensive working knowledge of either DR23 or DR4 and the performance measures that underpin these procedures
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, alongside the ability to build strong working relationships within and outside the immediate team
- Keen to learn new skills and tools and be flexible to deal with change
- Problem solving skills
- Competent in the use of standard desktop packages, i.e.word and excel
