**About the role**:
The Human Resources Advisor is responsible for supporting the full range of activities aligned to the associate lifecycle including (but not limited to): employee relations, recruitment, training, absence management, HR systems maintenance, recognition

**About the team**:
The CPI HR team is made up of generalists and HR managers at key sites, we work closely to share best practice and put our collective minds and experience together to devise effective people solutions to support business challenges. We also leverage the knowledge and experience of other HR teams in the UK that are part of the wider Crane Co Family.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Act as a point of the contact for the employees and managers in the business
- Provide professional HR advice and guidance in relation to a range of employee relations cases, including attendance management, disciplinary and performance management
- Proactively support the delivery of HR Processes
- Contribute to HR projects
- Support for CPI’s intellectual capital programme
- Design and maintain organization metrics as the performance of the business unit improves
- Work with hiring managers to manage the recruitment process for the UK and other locations as needed
- Support managers and associates to manage through absence processes
- Promote and manage internal recognition programmes
- Maintain accurate records and keep internal systems up to date
- is the first point of contact for associate issues within the business unit
- Share best practices with HR representatives from other CPI sites
- Support the on-boarding of all new associates
- Understand and works to ensure HR compliance for UK laws
- Coaching line managers & associates

**Qualifications and Required Skills**
- Bachelor’s degree in Human resources or equivalent would be advantageous

CIPD level 5 minimum
- Up to date knowledge of UK employment law is essential
- At least 2 years of experience working in a generalist HR role
- Must be proficient with the full suite of Microsoft office programme including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Experience of HR systems such as PeopleSoft and Select HR would be beneficial
