HR Advisor

Are you an experienced HR Advisor and CIPD qualified to level 5? Are you looking for an all-round HR role, working with a small team, supporting each other? There is salary of up to £35,400 and working a 36 hour week with a little flexibility on start and finish times.
**The Role**:
- Work with the Deputy of HR to support the day-to-day running of the HR Central Services team, including working methods, setting targets, developing capability, and holding them to account
- Provide positive and supportive team leadership (as appropriate) and effective communication
- Support the review process to update policies, procedures and processes.
- Share good practice and take a lead on relevant initiatives
- To manage HR caseloads, ensuring compliance with legislation and policies.
- Absence management, including carrying out return to work interview meetings and risk assessments
- Staff wellbeing support
- Disciplinary, Capability and Grievance processes (including conducting investigations, advising on the process, managing the administration, drafting letters and reports.
- Mediation meetings
- Flexible working requests.
- To provide HR statistical and management information, as required.
- To keep abreast of developments in employment legislation and case law and be proactive in ensuring managers are appropriately briefed on relevant changes and new legislation.
- To represent the HR Central Services team at internal and external meetings where appropriate.
**About You**:
- Able to advise Managers of up to date legislation
- CIPD level 5 qualified
- A minimum of 3 years in a general HR role
- Able to deal with sensitive and difficult situations
- Clear verbal and written skills
There is a salary of up to £35,400, working at 26 hour week, pension plus more and a great team working environment.
