**Part Time Payroll Officer**
**20- 25 Hours Per Week - to be worked over 4 or 5 days with flexibility**

**Payroll Officer - Job Description**
- Processing monthly adjustments, i.e., overtime, absence, holidays using Sage 50 payroll
- Updating P11d with relevant information
- Submission of P11d, P11d(b) and payment request
- Setting up new starters and processing leavers
- Processing T&C changes in line with effective dates
- Processing commissions and bonus once approved
- Calculation of Holiday premiums each month
- Running reports to check accuracy prior to sending payslips
- Dealing with any queries returned from payslips
- Uploading pension contributions to various pension providers
- Maintaining accurate pension records; managing postponement period, sending out relevant documents to new starters
- Monthly payroll checks, NMW compliance, etc
- Submission of month end reports; FPS, EPS & PAYE
- Processing monthly expenses and mileage claims
- Management of payroll year end
- Ad-hoc reports as required
- Ad-hoc tasks as part of the Finance team
- Annual tasks
**Payroll Officer Requirements**:
- Prior experience in processing payroll, start to finish
- Attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to communicate with people at all levels
- Self-confident and professional
- Experience using Sage and/or Time and Attendance systems would be advantageous
- An up-to-date knowledge of legislative changes and statutory regulations
- Strong Excel skills
