Office Administrator

**CareerMakers Recruitment** are currently looking for an Office Administrator in Skelmersdale, WN8.
Our client is currently looking for an additional key member for the team, working in a friendly environment.
**Duties will include**:
- Answering the telephone
- Entering Customer Sales Orders on to Sage, checking stock inventory to give lead times
- Accounts payable - processing supplier invoices on to Sage, matching to deliveries or coding invoice, reconciling to supplier statements, dealing with invoice queries, processing month end payment run
- Accounts receivable - processing customer invoices, allocating payments, chasing late payments
- Despatching - daily despatch with DPD - Foreign shipments with DHL, FEDEX, TNT and UPS - customs documentation and declarations
- Payroll - Sage 50 - monthly payroll, entering time sheets, SSP, SMP, processing payroll, HMRC submission, Pension submission, posting journals - dealing with enquiries from employees
- Pension - Auto enrolment, processing payments, joiners and leavers
- Filing
- General Administration duties
**Skills/Qualifications/Training -**
- Exceptional organisation, planning and administration skills. You must be able to multitask.
- Self-motivated, punctual, reliable, and able to maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Experience working flexibly in a small team, building strong day-to-day relationships with colleagues.
- Able to manage a varied workload, balancing scheduled tasks with daily requests
- Experience in using Sage Line 50 Accounts or similar accounts package (minimum 3 year)
- Experience is using Sage 50 Payroll or similar package (minimum 1 year)
- Knowledge of customs declarations for shipping Europe, USA and Rest of the World and advantage but full training will be given
- Good general level of education GCSE grades A-C, AAT in accounts or studying towards
- Computer literate: confident and proficient with Word, Excel and Outlook.
**Shift Pattern -**
- Monday - Thursday 08.30 - 17.00 & Friday 08.30 - 16.00

- Salary - £22,000 - £24,000 depending on experience.
