**Part-time Experienced Bookkeeper and Administrator**
On behalf of our client, we are looking to recruit a part time experienced bookkeeper and administrator. This is a great opportunity to become part of a great team and to develop in a progressive, friendly, client-focused firm.
Working Hours: Days and times to be agreed.
Location: Barrow in Furness
**Key Roles and Responsibilities**:
- Dealing with telephone invoice queries
- Posting purchase and sales invoices in the bookkeeping accounting software
- Reconciling supplier and customer accounts
- Posting and reconciling bank statements
- Preparation and submission of VAT returns
- Reporting the results of the assigned work to Directors
- Preparing correspondence to clients
- Dealing with telephone and in-person inquiries
- Bookkeeping and various other accounting tasks
- Dealing with inward and outward post
- Undertake ad-hoc works as directed by the Management
**Job specifics**:
- You have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- You have experience with sage accounts/payroll would be an advantage.
- You have excellent communication and organisational skills.
- You have a keen eye for detail.
- You have a professional attitude and appearance.
- You have the ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
