Job Summary:

Austin Fraser is seeking an experienced Accounts Administrator to join their team on a permanent full-time basis in Barrow-in-Furness.

This role involves managing bookkeeping and accounting processes for clients and the company's own accounts using Sage 50 Cloud software, reconciling company and client bank accounts, and completing VAT returns.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage financial transactions, including cheque and cash banking, sales and purchase ledgers, and direct credit files.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis.
Requirements:
  • Experience with Sage 50 Cloud or similar financial software.
  • A strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
Salary and Benefits:

The successful candidate can expect a salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including enhanced auto-enrolment pension scheme, private medical insurance, and life insurance equivalent to four times salary.
