Accounting and Administrative Professional

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our market-leading business on a full-time, permanent basis. As an integral part of our team, you will be responsible for various accounting and administrative tasks in Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria.
Job Details:- Competitive Annual Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
- Job Type: Full-time
You will utilise Sage 50 Cloud accounts for bookkeeping and accounting processes, reconcile company client bank accounts, complete VAT returns and submit them online, manage clients' cheque and cash banking, handle company sales and purchase ledger, manage Direct Debit collections for clients and create new payment records, undertake other general commercial activities as required.
To be successful in this role, you should have experience with Sage 50 Cloud accounts or similar accounting software, a strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting processes, the ability to complete VAT returns and understand financial statements.
