About the RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Assistant to join our finance team.
The Finance Assistant will play a key role in supporting the financial operations of the company by performing a variety of accounting, bookkeeping, and financial tasks.
This role requires a high level of accuracy, integrity, and the ability to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
Part-Time 22.5 hours per week.Job Opportunity·        Accounts Payable:o   Process invoices, card payments, expense claims, and payment requests.o   Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.o   Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.·        Accounts Receivable:o   Generate and send out invoices.o   Follow up on, collect, and allocate payments.o   Perform account reconciliations.·        Payroll:o   Collection of data to produce monthly payroll as required by the Assistant Accountant.o   Analysis of absence returns and updating of individual absence records·        Financial Reporting:o   Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.o   Support the Finance Manager in budgeting and forecasting activities.·        Compliance and Auditing:o   Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.o   Assist with internal and external audits.·        Administrative Support:o   Provide administrative support to the finance department.o   Maintain filing systems for financial documents.·        Any other duties as may reasonably be required due to the demands of the businessEssential Skills·        Skills:o   Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.o   Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.o   Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).o   Effective communication and interpersonal skills.·        Other Requirements:o   High level of integrity and confidentiality.o   Ability to work independently and as part of a team.o   Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.About CompanyiMap - Individuals Making Autism Positive are an established support and education provider committed to increasing the participation of children and adults with autism in all aspects of living and learning. Through understanding we will empower each individual to achieve their aspirations.DE&IThis position is exempt from the 'Rehabilitation of Offenders act 1974' and as such the successful candidate will be required to undertake an Enhanced/with child/adult barred/Disclosure via the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).iMap Centre is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
