Children's Residential Support Worker

I am recruiting on behalf of my client for pro-active and enthusiastic individuals with a passion for caring for children and young adults. The children are aged between 7 to 17 and come from backgrounds of trauma and neglect so its paramount that you are able to offer them stability, structure and consistency.
Your role will be to support them on a one to one basis with every aspects of their daily tasks whilst encouraging them to chase their goals and ambitions to transition into adulthood independently.
Being a support worker can be a very rewarding job. Even though the role can be hard and often challenging, making a positive difference to someone’s life and helping them become more independent brings feelings of accomplishment and satisfaction. It’s a great career choice for those who enjoy a varied job role and lots of interaction with others.

- Aged 21 or above. (_This is an industry standard regulation set by Ofsted. They outline that all staff working with children and young people within residential care home settings, must be 4 years older than the oldest child residing in the home)._
- Have a full UK drivers licence. **ESSENTIAL TO THE ROLE.**:
- Happy to commit to a rota which will consist of 2 to 3 shifts per week which will include sleep ins.
