Alina Homecare are now looking to appoint a Care Coordinator to join our fantastic team operating from our Guildford. We are growing as a business and as a result now have a great opportunity for somebody who is passionate about care who wishes to progress with a genuinely caring company.

**Job Role**

Reporting to the Registered Manager and working closely with your carers you will make sure that every customer gets the quality of care that they deserve. As care coordinator you will be responsible for rota planning and briefing carers prior to their care calls, conducting supervisions and managing customer visits when required. You will also support your care manager with the recruitment of new carers, conducting interviews and managing compliance. Put simply, you’ll help to make sure that your colleagues and customer received the best possible services possible.

**Principle Responsibilities**:

- Supporting the day-to-day running of the branch and ensuring compliance with all requirements of CQC via rostering, recording and reporting.
- Preparing staff rosters to ensure proper continuity in the delivery of care. Ensuring these rosters, and _all_changes, are properly communicated to customers and care workers. Re-allocating shifts as necessary, to cover staff absences.
- Accepting changes to visits as requested by customers, their friends and relatives.
- Accepting new packages from a variety of referral routes.
- Supporting business development by providing all relevant information and leaflets to prospective new customers and visiting them in their home to discuss their requirements.
- Investigating complaints, taking appropriate remedial action and if required reporting this to senior management and/or the CQC.
- Ensuring that effective induction, supervision and assessment of staff is carried out and that training needs are identified and met.
- Taking an active part in on call and emergency care responsibilities as required.
- Delivering personal and non-personal care to customers if necessary.
- Forward planning for training days for care workers ensuring that there is adequate staff coverage so as not to cause interruption to daily operations.

**Personal Specification**
- Be experienced in providing care to a wide range of Service Users
- Experience in domiciliary homecare
- Staff rota experience
- Be able to deal with potentially stressful, deadline driven situation.
- Drivers Licence and Transport
