Hartford Care Ltd seeks an experienced Reception and Administrative Coordinator to join our team. As the first point of contact for all visitors to the care home, you will provide a high level of customer service and ensure all reception duties are carried out with professionalism and care.

In this role, you will be responsible for liaising with potential applicants to arrange interviews, updating training records on internal systems, transcribing meeting minutes from Dictaphone recordings, delivering newspapers to residents, and welcoming family carers into the home. You will also be required to use IT systems, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, to manage tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with potential applicants to arrange interviews
  • Update training records on internal systems
  • Transcribe meeting minutes from Dictaphone recordings
  • Deliver newspapers to residents
  • Welcome family carers into the home

Able to work autonomously as well as part of a team, flexible approach to working hours, good telephone manner, and strong organisation and planning skills are essential requirements for this role. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are also necessary to effectively communicate with colleagues and residents.
