**About the role**:
Are you a seasoned leader in supply chain management? Are you passionate about driving operational excellence and optimising customer satisfaction? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as the Head of Demand and Supply Planning at Ocado Logistics, working hybrid at our head office at Hatfield. As the Head of Demand and Planning, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our supply chain. Collaborating closely with internal departments such as Operational teams, Finance, Operational Excellence, and HR, plus our retail partners. Yyou will be accountable for delivering best-in-class KPI metrics, including customer availability, wastage, and customer order fulfilment and your expertise will be crucial in maintaining optimal stock levels within our stockholding targets for both our retailers, Ocado Retail and Morrisons. This role encompasses various components, each presenting unique challenges and opportunities.

**You will be**:
As the Head of Demand and Planning, your role is crucial in supporting our Logistics strategy and driving business growth. You'll collaborate internally and externally, upholding high KPI standards across two retailers. By building strong relationships with retail partners, you will work collaboratively to create a global buying forecast aligned with their sales forecast and ensure balanced KPIs. You will need to be Intellectually curious, able to challenge existing processes and beliefs to achieve better results and outcomes. Constantly driving for improvement and Supply Chain Excellence, your responsibilities will include team building, leadership, and motivation. You'll conduct performance reviews, set objectives, and provide coaching to achieve success. Creating and managing long-term strategic goals will be key, aiming for industry-leading KPIs and exceptional service for Ocado Retail and Morrisons customers. Managing projects across the supply chain, you'll engage with teams, departments, and stakeholders. Building strong relationships with head office management will foster communication and partnerships. Operating with integrity, you'll maintain a trusted supply chain reputation, proactively engaging with operational and retail departments to balance needs and ensure inventory efficiency. Guiding and supporting the Morrisons demand manager team, you'll ensure compliance with competition law. Monitoring and reporting on KPIs, projects, and personal development goals will be critical, providing updates to management. Continual improvement and innovation will drive optimisation and adaptability to evolving demands. Taking ownership of health and safety practices, you'll enforce policies, ensure compliance, conduct inspections, and manage risk.

**About you**:
In this critical role, you will leverage your 5+ years of senior leadership experience in a complex retail and/or logistics environment to drive operational excellence and optimise customer satisfaction. Experience in food retail would be advantageous. Your strong business acumen and commercial skills will be instrumental in shaping strategic decision-making and contributing to the company's growth. As a natural leader with excellent people management abilities, you will inspire, develop, and guide your teams to reach their full potential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, will enable you to effectively analyse data and generate valuable insights. Your strong analytical and problem-solving skills will allow you to identify trends, forecast demand, and optimise supply chain operations. With excellent communication skills at all levels, you will collaborate effectively with internal teams, external stakeholders, and senior management. A degree or equivalent education, along with formal supply chain qualifications, would be preferred, highlighting your commitment to professional development. Experience in the e-commerce sector will be a valuable asset, providing you with a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within online retail. This role may require regular travel, allowing you to build relationships, conduct site visits, and stay informed about operational aspects across different locations.
