**Key Purpose**
- To organise and carry out administrative duties relating to the Study Programme
- St Ed’s recognises and specialises in supporting young people who may be disengaged from education and training and/or experiencing multiple barriers to successful employment and therefore considers the Administration Officer a critical part of the student’s programme.
- Maintenance of the student bursary requirements for Study programme students
- To support all students in achieving their potential by taking a pro-active, enthusiastic and flexible approach in accordance with St Ed’s ethos and operating procedures, policies and corporate strategy.

**Core responsibilities**

The Administration Officer will be responsible to complete contractual paperwork, this includes:
completing and collating starter paperwork, monthly reviews, and leaver paperwork in accordance with ESFA guidelines.
- The Administration Officer will be responsible to support Post 16 with their contractual targets within the specified timeframes to maximise funding.
- The Administration Officer will work as a member of the Post 16 team and will regularly liaise with the Study Programme Manager to ensure high quality recruitment and monitoring of students attendance, behaviour and achievement once on programme.
- The Administration Officer will be responsible to follow up on destination details of our students.
- General Office support including completing attendance letters
- Filing, management of papers, and electronic documentation.
- Back up reception and telephone duties for the centre.
- Recording, administration and allocation of discretionary and enhanced ESFA bursaries relating to the attendance of young people aged 16-19.
- Any other duties as may be reasonably requested by General Manager, Executive Management Trainee and Study Programme Manager that you are suitably trained for and considered capable of carrying out
- Achieved a minimum of grade C, 4 or equivalent in ICT
- Achieved a minimum of grade C, 4 or equivalent in Maths and English
- Well organised, able to work in a demanding environment and to be able to multi-task
- Pay attention to detail
- Able to collate information from multiple documents
- Prepare for and take meeting minutes
- Reliable and non judgemental
- Team player
- Good communicator

The role is full time and 5 days a week. Subject to DBS and references

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £21,500.00-£25,000.00 per year
