Finance Administrator

Our client, a successful North East business, is seeking a **Finance Administrator** to join the team at their offices in Gateshead on a full-time, permanent basis.
This fantastic opportunity will allow an experienced **Finance/Accounts Administrator **with **at least 1-2 years experience **the opportunity to work with an established finance team. The role will involve general admin duties as well as managing the **credit control **function.

**The Finance Administrator Role**
The Finance Administrator will be responsible for **supporting the finance function **with all aspects of administration. The role will also manage the **credit control **including monitoring and maintaining customer accounts to ensure timely payment.
Duties can include:
- Contact customers to prompt payments and follow up on outstanding invoices.
- Collaborate with sales, account, and project management teams to resolve invoicing discrepancies and address credit issues with new orders.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and payment status.
- Support the finance team with all administration
**About the Finance Administrator**
With **at least 1-2 year’s experience** in a finance administration role, you will be a team player who enjoys working in a **fast paced and busy environment**.
Other requirements will include:
- Excellent **communication** skills
- Proven **credit control experience and knowledge**:
- Excellent **Microsoft skills** and the ability to pick up new systems quickly
- Strong organisation skills
- Ability to adapt to **changing priorities**:
- Be a strong **team player**
Pay: £23,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
