**Technical Support Specialist**

The Firsty Group is an award-winning technology services company working within the publishing industry. We are a forward-thinking, innovative, and creative team that provides software solutions and digital services to the publishing industry. We are looking for someone to join our technical team who is as passionate and dedicated to providing first-class support to our customers as we are.

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Troubleshooting and solving issues in mobile apps, websites, and data feeds.
- Setting up IOS and Android app demos, both internal and external.
- Replying to customer queries via our help-desk software.
- Acting as the point of contact between the customer and the technical support team during escalations.
- Onboarding new customers.
- Internal and external Pre-sales support
- Testing and documenting new product features.

**Qualifications**
- Must have superb verbal and written communication skills.
- Previous experience in a Technical Support role.
- Experience in using PHP, databases (MySQL), Magento, WooCommerce, API’s and Apps.
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude.
- Being flexible and highly self-motivated.
- Proven ability to multi-task while paying strict attention to detail.
- Excellent listening and negotiation skills.
- A sound understanding of Google Suite / Microsoft Office.
- Confident in a customer-facing role.
- An interest in mobile apps, books and publishing would be beneficial.

Full training on systems and products will be provided.

**Job Type**: Full time (9 am to 5.30 pm), Hybrid Working (3 days in Newbury office, 2 days Working from Home).

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
