**We are looking for a Trainee Costing Administrator, salary starting from £20,000. Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week and office based.**

**Job Summary**:
As a Trainee Costing Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the efficient management and delivery of projects. This entry-level position provides an excellent opportunity for career development within the construction industry.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Estimating and Cost Submission**

Assist in the preparation of costs and estimates for construction projects, analysing project plans, specifications, and documentation.

**Cost and Project Analysis**

Monitor costs and resources on live projects against budgets. Maintain project files, collating and checking all site records, plans, estimates and sub-contractor orders.

Occasional site visits to assist with monitoring costs and project progress where required.

**Customer and Supplier Co-ordination**

Build positive relationships with customers, liaise, and assist with cost/site queries as required throughout projects.

Support negotiations for pricing and contractual terms with guidance from senior team members.

Assist in the evaluation and negotiation of sub-contractor and supplier costs and agreements.

**Health and Safety**

Assist in the preparation of site-specific Health & Safety files, including Risk and Method statements, ensuring correct certification is issued to site and submission of Operations & Maintenance manuals on completion of works.

**Qualifications and Skills**

Good analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills.

Ability to manage and prioritise workloads.

Strong communication and IT skills and a collaborative mindset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
