**JOB TITLE: Administrator/Digital and Transformation Support**

**REPORTS TO: PCN Operations Manager**

**Job summary**:
The PCN Administrator/Digital and Transformation Support will play a key role in the continued development of the digital infrastructure of the PCN. They will work closely with the Operational Manager to ensure the administration and monitoring of projects and services committed to or commissioned by the PCN. Supporting the Operations Manager with data analysis and administration, whilst helping to improve processes and patient access.

**Job responsibilities**:

- Provide administration support to the PCN Operational Manager
- Work with the PCN Operations Manager, the Data Quality Analyst and the managers and GPs at each member practice to support the effective delivery of the PCN requirements
- Support the implementation and progression of PCN projects and contracts.
- To develop and maintain an understanding of the PCN digital infrastructure
- Provide support to colleagues, including resources on digital tools and systems
- Support integrated working, building relationships and facilitate collaboration between practices to support the delivery of care to patients.
- Improve our patients access to digital resources, including practice and PCN Websites
- Develop an understanding of systems used by the NHS and healthcare
- Help to inform and support the alignment of systems across the PCN

**Organisational**:

- Be the main contact for information technology resources within the PCN.
- Undertake administrative tasks to help ensure the smooth running of the PCN, supported by the Operations Manager.
- Assist in creating a framework to align and focus the PCN digital infrastructure
- Support the Operations Manager to plan strategic and operational goals for the PCN and assisting with the drawing up and implementation of action or project plans.
- Working with the practices, assisting with administration regarding inviting patients for specific PCN services or contracts.
- Support the PCN Data Analyst and Practice Managers with data-related reporting as needed.

**Working Relationships**:

- Ensure that there is effective communication across the Network.
- To work as a flexible member of the PCN providing support to other team members when necessary
- To support the development and embedding of the PCNs culture, values, and reputation as providers of high-quality services
- Encourage all staff within practices, both clinical and non-clinical, to collaborate through sharing information
- Other duties as requested

**Health & Safety**:
The post-holder will assist in promoting and maintaining their own and others’ health, safety and security as defined in the practice health & safety policy, the practice health & safety manual, and the practice infection control policy and published procedures. This will include:

- Using personal security systems within the workplace according to practice guidelines
- Identifying the risks involved in work activities and undertaking such activities in a way that manages those risks
- Making effective use of training to update knowledge and skills
- Using appropriate infection control procedures, maintaining work areas in a tidy and safe way, free from hazards
- Actively reporting health and safety hazards and infection hazards immediately when recognised
- Keeping own work areas and general/patient areas generally clean, assisting in the maintenance of general standards of cleanliness consistent with the scope of the job holder’s role
- Undertaking periodic infection control training as per mandatory training requirements
- Responsible for correct hand hygiene of self
- Reporting potential risks identified
- Demonstrate due regard for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
