Job Summary: Mploy Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled Payroll Administrator to join a longstanding client in a permanent position. The ideal candidate will have experience in processing and delivering a monthly payroll in an accurate, compliant, and timely fashion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and verify payroll data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax, pension, and other relevant regulations.
- Resolve payroll enquiries from internal stakeholders and support with general accounts queries.
- Prepare payroll for audit and process timesheets and job costings.
- Support with general office administration and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
Requirements:
- Experience in using Sage (Sage50 ideally) and the Microsoft Office suite, including intermediate Excel skills.
- Education to a L3 standard.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to review and interpret payroll data.
- Logical and flexible with a good understanding of basic payroll concepts.
- Articulate communicator with a good standard of written and spoken English.
- Friendly demeanor and ability to work as part of a close-knit team.
- Trustworthy and highly confidential.
What We Offer:
- A competitive hourly rate of £15 per hour.
- A workplace pension scheme.
- 30 days of holiday per annum/pro rata (including bank holidays).
- A part-time and permanent contract with a 15-hour per week commitment.
