**What you’ll do**:
This position is to cover a period of maternity within the team.
**Key responsibilities**
- Provide direct HR support to specific functions of the business to ensure that operational HR is delivered effectively. Proactively support the delivery of HR Processes at the site.
- Develop and deploy the BU resource plans, working with the Eaton and Gattaca Resourcing Teams to meet relevant requirements and personal involvement in appointments
- Actively engage in the Eaton early career and high potential pipeline programmes, e.g. apprentice and graduate programmes
- Deploys talent and reward strategies by pulling upon the specialists within Eaton Group
- Work with the leadership team and talent specialists to support talent management processes within the Business Unit, e,g. Succession Planning, Career Planning (aligned to functional councils) and the Cobham Development Programmes
- Proactively provide HR advice and support to site management, supervisors and employees on a wide range of tactical and operational employee related issues
- Advise managers and employees on issues of employment legislation
- Responsibility for dealing with any tribunal claims that arise in close coordination with the HR Lead
- Provide accurate HR data to the HR Lead
- Act as a deputy to the HR Lead and provide cover in their absence
- Working with relevant stakeholders, support Strategic Workforce Planning within the BU. Ensure qualitative and quantative data is input into the process and that identified gaps are addressed.
- Manage day-to-day interactions with employees and relations with relevant groups. Facilitate management of any employee issues and escalate where required.
- Act as a change agent to support and facilitate desired change.
- Ensure Continuous improvement methodology is applied to HR process and operational deliverables.
**Qualifications**:
**Job qualification and experiences**
- Solid experience in HR management and development
- Strong employee relations experience and a full understanding of current employment legislation
- CIPD qualified
- Degree and/or relevant experience
**Core competencies**
- Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills and emotional resilience along with the ability to work in complex, sometimes ambiguous environments serving multiple stakeholders
- Intermediate negotiation skills
- Sound analytical skills; ability to work with data to provide meaningful management information
- Project Management and Change Management skills

- Strong Time Management and Priorities Management Skills
- Team player
