HR Administrator

**Little Lives UK is a small children’s charity in Wimborne, and we are seeking a part time HR Administrator join the team on a part-time basis. 16 hours/ week Monday to Friday. Monday 8am -12pm, Tuesday to Friday 8am - 11am.**
**What will the HR Administrator role involve?**
- Employee on-boarding, contracts of employment, background checks, referencing; off-boarding and contractual changes.
- Maintaining accurate employee records in line with GDPR.
- Hiring new staff members including staff cover and volunteers.
- Managing holiday requests and rotas.
- Handling employee queries and requests.
- Preparing reports contracts and other documents.
- Monitor absence levels. Support investigations. Recruitment - including advertising, collating CVs, arranging interviews, issuing relevant correspondence etc.
- To ensure effective selection and development of the right staff to meet the charity’s objectives.
- Assist in formal meetings, such as employee disciplinaries and grievances and terminations of contracts.
It is essential that you maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive HR information with utmost discretion. Furthermore, you will be responsible for preparing HR-related documents such as offer letters, contracts, and policies.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable with working both individually and in a team to a high standard that reflects well on the charity. We are a small charity that works within the community to ensure that as many children as possible are offered the support and access to services they need.
Holiday allowance is 5.6 weeks per year for the whole year. There is free parking at the office and casual dress code.
