**Fox Morris Group** are working to recruit an **Information Governance Officer**

**Rate - £18 to £21 per hour?**

**Length - 6+ month ongoing contract**
- Tameside Council is responsible for a net budget of approximately £208m in 2022/23 for delivering services to the residents of Tameside. The Greater Manchester Pension Fund (GMPF) has assets in excess of £22 billion, is administered by Tameside Council, and is the largest Local Government Pension Scheme in the country._
- As the RIIG Officer, you will support the Risk, Insurance and Information Governance Manager in delivering best in class RIIG service, but most notably specialising in information governance advice and guidance as well as playing a key role in supporting business owners to produce Data Protection Impact Assessments and conducting data breach investigations. If you have information governance experience and you have ambition, enthusiasm and energy, this role is for you_

- Previous risk management and insurance claims experience.
- Experience and understanding of information governance issues in a local government environment.
- _Experience of assessing risks and compiling risk registers
