**JOB DESCRIPTION - PROJECT SUPPORT OFFICER (PSO)**

Accountable to: Director of Operations

Responsible to: Head of Operations and Programme Manager Enfield Training Hub

**About the Role**

We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented Project Officer to support the efficient delivery and organisation of Enfield Federation and Enfield Training Hub’s programmes. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to develop professionally and gain an in-depth understanding of large-scale projects to support the recruitment and retention of Enfield’s primary care workforce.

The successful applicant will be responsible for coordination and delivery of training and workforce programmes. The role will keep good records for each programme they support and be able to develop personable and effective relationships with stakeholders of all levels.

The role is ideally suited to someone that is thrives in a busy environment is organised, proactive a good communicator, self-starting, and can work to tight deadlines.

About Enfield Federation and the Enfield Training Hub

Enfield Healthcare Co-operative Limited (EHCL), is an Enfield GP Federation that was established in August 2017. Its members include 41 GP practices in the Enfield Borough, with a growing registered patient list size of around 360,000.

EHCL is led by a group of experienced local GP Leaders, selected to represent their practices (PCNS) at federation level.

Enfield GP Federation aims to support the delivery of high quality primary and community care that is equitably and consistently accessible to patients.

Enfield Training Hub

Enfield Training Hub works to ensure the best possible training and support offer is available for the local primary care workforce.

Our programmes are responsive to current workforce need and future changes in care delivery to meet the health and wellbeing of the local population of Enfield. Our programmes include:
1. Coordination of education and training for primary care workforce teams.

2. Developing educators and supervisors in primary care.

3. Workforce recruitment.

4. Workforce transformation and change.

Across Enfield primary care, and with our wider North Central London partners, Enfield Training Hub is working to improve training and development for clinical and non-clinical staff, and establishing strong links across local organisational boundaries.

FUNCTION SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of both short
- and long-term projects that can vary in complexity by working with the team to ensure the delivery and achievement of the GP Federation priorities.
- Work to a specified project brief within the practice support and development agenda. This will include the supporting GP Practices to deliver against agreed key performance indicators, demonstrating improvement where appropriate. Planning and coordinating of service reviews.
- Maintain a working knowledge of the key priorities for the GP Federation and ensuring that these are communicated effectively across partners, stakeholders and within the NCL Integrated Care Board (ICB), to support the achievement of organisational goals.
- Undertake and support specified projects, this include: formulating, monitoring and performance management of complex action plans, organising and planning task and finish groups/meetings, minute taking, liaising with key stakeholders, updates on project progress.

Support the development of workforce pathways for existing primary care teams, which includes having a good understanding of accredited programmes and apprenticeships.

Contribute to new employment models and integrated team structures, including the development of job descriptions, education and support offers, evaluation and supervision.

Evaluate impact of training and workforce offers, including identifying risks and areas for development as they arise.

Proactively collect local workforce and training demands to understand learning needs.

Develop resource packages and communication pieces for learning and development, including content for weekly bulletin and website.
