Integra People are hiring for our client who offer support in residential and supported living services in the region.

Exciting opportunities have arisen to join their team for a Residential Children’s Worker within one of their registered Children’s Homes. You will be part of transforming the lives of looked-after children. As a Residential Children’s Worker, every day will be different, and you won’t find a more rewarding career.

Shifts will be offered on an ad hoc basis where you will complete a 15 hour shift followed by a sleep in.

We want to hear from caring, enthusiastic and dedicated healthcare workers who really care about the needs of young people. You’ll enjoy working with children and young people, providing day to day support, guidance and activities. You’ll create a safe, caring and supportive place for children and young people to live.

**Job Requirements**
- Provide a safe environment for the young people in our care
- Good communication skills with the ability to develop positive relationships
- Be a good team player to provide a high level of care and achieve positive outcomes
- Encourage the young people to be motivated and take part in activities, education and extracurricular activities
- Have attention to detail ensuring correct information is recorded in all paperwork
- Demonstrate a commitment to own training and development
- Be able to adapt working practice to the ethos of the home
- Have resilience, motivation and determination
- Can adapt to challenging and changing situations
- Be inclusive to all children and young people
- Be confident in using Microsoft Office including Outlook and Word, or willing to learn
- Be flexible and able to undertake shift work including weekends and sleep-ins.
